Human Services Organization

Introduction

There has been the great need of having well-established human services delivery with well-managed organizations in order to make life much better and realistic, and especially for those who are in need of such services. Such include the community organizations, which more often than not do not have the need to make profits, but provide services and help to the populations (Bowl by, 2008). Most of these community service organization for human beings can be thought from some broader and community based perspective, and which have the great role of providing service to the community. With many problems being faced each day within different communities, the efforts and roles played by such organizations have been necessary in order to make life comfortable for such people.

Human service organizations or agencies are those kinds of organizations that seek to promote or improve the quality of the client’s issues and lives through the provision and facilitation of all forms of recommending support and assistance. They do this for the major needs which such clients might be facing such as basic social aid and support, physical and emotional health issues, provision of mental health, advice, housing services, and other kinds of support which is given to the needy and people in demand within the community (Bowlby, 2008). Therefore, the human service organizations are very vital agencies which have the capability of providing the best of services and care to all those who need it and by so doing being able to improve the living situations and conditions of the people within the society or community. Such human service organizations have a very great role to play which helps in promoting performance and fostering effective economic growth and societal development. They have a great command of power in improving the societal welfare to all.

Fundamentals of Human Services Organization

Towards a better society, the role of human services organization cannot be over-looked since they have been able to prove to the world that they have the greatest capability in ensuring that the people who are in special needs have been given the necessary care and attention, which ensures that their problems have been solved. Such human service organizations have thus been having a great power which sees them engaged in different obligations and progressions aimed at alleviating all forms of problems and hardships which different people might be facing (Borritz, 2006). In that connection, there should be proper management and provision of the necessary guidelines, which promotes performance. The agencies of these human services have been involved in making sure that the well-being within the population has been mandated as a useful role by the State. Such agencies might be given the guidelines by the government so that they can be engaged in a mission that is aimed at improving the situations of the people who are facing a number of problems within the society.

Another important piece of consideration is that such human service organization have always been headed by governors and chief executive officers whose role is in making sure that all form of performance has been done in an effective manner with the sole aim of making sure that the interests of the greatest majority has been catered for. Appointment is done in a competent manner so that there can be authority and questionability of the individuals who have been mandated with the procedures and engagements of such organizations. At times, these organizations have been able to achieve international stands and hence being able to provide the best of human services in the areas in which their activities are expected. Such organizations have always been having constant source of funds which might be supplied by well wishers, humanitarian efforts, charity, and also by governments through which such agencies have been established. Once appropriate financial support has been established, it becomes possible to engage in proper activity thus being able to provide the necessary resources and missions, which are a part of the organization (Schalock, 2007).

As we have noted above, the human service organizations have been able to give variations of services and help to the people who are really in need. Such human service organizations have been coming up with programs and facilities, which have the capability of making sure that it will be possible to meet all the basic health issues. It also makes sure it meets human welfare in general, and all other forms of needs which a given groups or society demands, and such is usually given to most of the people who really need such form of care such as the elderly people, small children, and all other individuals in need. From such kind of understanding, such provision might be undertaken by the government, and have the people providing subsidized amount of money for the services (Borritz, 2006). As well, there may be the adoption of nongovernmental organizations whose mission does not entail gaining profits. In that case, however the kind of management and progression being pioneered for, the main duty is always in making sure that all the possible goals and objectives of the organization has been achieved through provision of the best of services. Proper coordination has been a delicate obligation which shows the best of response to any kind of problem, and by so doing be able to achieve the best of results within the performance.

Different disasters have always been reported in different parts of the world and hence the reason why there has been the possibility of having such organization so that the people having the specific catastrophe can be given the appropriate solution within the shortest time possible. Since man will always be faced with difficult situations, there has been the need of having well performed and organized organizations so as to improve service delivery to those who are in need (Schalock, 2007). Human health and human service delivery has been able to get a great support in giving aid to the elderly and all those who need it. For instance, the United States was able to create the USDHHS, United Department of Health and Human Services, which was initially opened and enhanced by Jimmy Carter in the year 1980. Such service had been aimed at providing the necessary service in all dimensions starting from education, welfare in general and health. There was also the need of having proper delivery of important services to the elderly and other children whose health conditions had been compromised. This USDHHS had been initiated in an approach of dramatically ending the problems faced and promoting human welfare in general (O’Brien, 2007). Through proper management is has been able to provide the necessary services and promoting conditions in different societies having compromised situations.

In majority of the human service organizations in different nations, there has been the deployment of expert persons who have been given and endorsed with a lot of roles which they have to play for effective services delivery to all those who need them. For instance, there have been the employments of secretaries whose roles and responsibilities have been able to include duties in overseeing that hundreds of organizations and programs aimed in promoting health and social service provision has been done in an appropriate manner. For instance, Medicare and Medicaid have been a good example of human service organizations, which has been able to provide the best of services to the elderly and the children in the United States. Other operations have been engaged in overseeing the Food and Drug Administration, FDA, and ensuring that it has been engaged in profitable business (Schalock, 2007). In several countries, there has been the employment of a number of such organizations so that it can be possible to deliver solutions to all those who are in need. Such human service organizations have thus been aimed at the provision of better health for those who need it, provision of education, having rehabilitation operations, and as well through social security organizations. With very many people being in need of different services from the government, it has been necessary to have such organizations, and which should be properly managed and coordinated so that they can be able to provide the best of services which might be needed by such clients (Crittenden, 2008). In that case, these human services organizations have been able to achieve a better performance which comes out as an outstanding demonstration of the powers of such organizations, and how they can be able to promote overall economic development and sustainability.

Power of the Human Service Organization

Due to the nature and complexity with which man had been having a number of problems, there has been the need of having appropriate practice, which has the capability of ensuring that proper management, and operations have been obtained within such organizations. This has been something of great consideration so that such organizations and agencies can be able to provide the best of services to those who really need them (Gill, 2008). In that case, it should be noted that these agencies and organizations have been on the forefront in making sure that they have been able to perform the best of duties, and to the best of their knowledge. Towards a better society in different nations, these human service organizations have been engaged in appropriate practices, which have the capability of improving service delivery and making it possible to realize the best of goals, which have been outlined by the specific organizations.

Human Services provision has been important for any given society and making sure that the population has been provided with the necessary care which they deserve, and such should be done during the critical conditions and other times of need. Administration of these organizations has been necessary and should be done in the appropriate manner towards the provision of the services (Crittenden, 2008). Basically, the power of these organizations has all along been based on the fact that there has been the employment of the necessary procedures and obligations which make sure that all provisions has been done in a very individualized manner so as to make sure that the patients and other people in need have been provided with the kind of care which they need. Provision of specialized care has been endorsed in such organizations, and this has been done by enhancing service coordination which is to be given to all the people in need, whether they are small children or adults who might be having a number of behavioral or other health needs and complications.

The primary goal behind such human health organizations has been in making sure that all services have been provided within appropriate guidelines, which promote the best of service delivery. Proper coordination with the society has been appropriate in ensuring that there has been cooperation thus fostering proper service delivery. Such has been an upper hand, which has been making sure that appropriate services have been adequately delivered. The main objective behind such organizations has thus been in the provision of seamless form of transition which helps the different individuals having specific problems being given the necessary solution to the kind of problems they might be facing (Gill, 2008). Some power and advantages of such organizations have also been indicated in the manner in which the agencies have been able to come up with strategies which have the capability of empowering specific individuals through the provision of personalized services and which have effectiveness in their performance, and by so doing being able to give redress to all kinds of problems which might be faced by the individuals. Through their similar missions statements, there has been the continued promotion of coordination and performances which has been aimed at promoting the kind and quality of services which are being delivered to the clients and different populations and by so doing being able to bridge the gap from a dull present to future which will be much brighter and worth living (Groak, 2009).

Social Services offering organizations have been theoretically able to come into terms with the situations faced within societies and by so doing being able to effectively provide or as well arrange the appropriate services, which have to be delivered to a given group of individuals. They have as well been able to produce an effective care plan, which ensures that the best of services have been delivered to the troubled populations. Such organizations have been able to come up with a reputable care plan, which sets out the kind and nature of services, which ought to be provided to different individuals (O’Brien, 2007). As well, they have been able to give appropriate provisions on what has to be done, and the relevant procedures, which have to be followed by the individuals who are willing to have such kind of support. Without any delay, most of the human service organizations have been employing competent performances, which increase the chances, and the manner in which service is given. Such authorities within the organizations have the desire in offering appropriate assessment on the care which is to be offered, help in acquisition of all legalities, and by so doing be able to provide for the needs which might be needed.

Another important power with such organizations has been in their ability of engaging in some other forms of activities, which have the capability of making the community self-reliance. After they have been able to provide to the people the necessary care and solution to their specific needs, these human service organizations have been employing some training exercises which guide the people on how in the future they might be able to solve any kind of problem and situations that come their way, and as well guide them on how they may be able to engage in economic activities hence achievement of economic sustainability (Groak, 2009). Such a role has been very important towards the developments and improved performance with specific communities and different ages, which have been having different kinds of problems. What has to be known here is that there are kinds of such organizations whose role has been in providing the necessary services, which are needed in the society by the people who are facing varied problems.

The other power with such organizations goes beyond the generalized knowledge and view that such organizations will only be giving the necessary solutions and services, which are aimed to address the specific kind of problems being faced by different age groups and different individuals within the society (Jimmy, 2009). In that case, these organizations have come up with competent individuals who have been able to help such individuals and giving them the necessary guidelines on how they can have good lives on their own. There has been the continued provision of healthcare workers as well as other professionals whose role has been in providing the necessary services and emotional support to the people in need (O’Brien, 2007). The agencies have also been giving support in different fields such as in management of projects which will benefit the society such as for water, electricity, among others, social and community which improve human lives within the community, addressing of health issues and also giving appropriate guidance and counseling to people having various psychological problems.

Through close operational strategy and maximum supervision, such organizations have been able to achieve a great deal of performance, which in the ultimate has improved the conditions faced by the individuals in need. Social and other human service organizations have thus been involved in carrying out exercises of help so that they can adequately end up improving the quality of lives in which the people of the society are living in. They have been able to come up with adequate assessment of the needs of specific clients, going ahead to investigate their credibility and eligibility for the benefits and kinds of services being provided, and such has ranged from food stuffs, Medicare, Medicaid and other welfare issues which have some relationship with the lives of the clients. Other types of organizations have been playing a major role in ensuring that they give clients the necessary help and give guidelines to clients on how they can be able obtain some things such as insurance cover among others. Such organizations have also been able to give transportation for the people in need and take them to places where they can have their problems and issues addressed, and also providing them with appropriate emotional support (Groak, 2009).

The human service organizations have thus been playing a diverse number of roles, which have been of great importance to the society in particular. Some of these extra roles, which they have been playing, include organizing and leading vital group activities, which help the community. They have also been assisting their clients who are in need by offering them appropriate counseling and crisis intervention whenever the need arises (Schalock, 2007). Emergency responses have also been adequately provided for within the society by such organizations. In the housing service, such organizations have been promoting better housing through adoption of government-supported programs and hence being able to give better housing to the population. Some other organizations have been involved in giving individualized care, and such include the assisting of adults who have been in need of supervision and provision of personalized hygiene conditions, ensure proper medications to those who are ailing, and also give emotional support whenever the need arise. In some psychiatric hospitals, the rehabilitation programs, as well as with outpatient clinics, such organizations have been able to provide the proper support which is aimed at providing the necessary solution to the specific problem which a given individual has been facing (Barrett, 2006). In addition, we cannot fail to discuss another important role which different human service organizations have been able to give. This is in ensuring that the work environments for majority of the people have been comfortable and with their issues given the necessary redress. Working conditions within different organizations have been in a nightmare and the reason such organizations have the power of interventions and by so doing being able to make sure the rightful efforts have been embarked in the practice. The organizations have thus been able to advocate for the rights of workers, which they might not be able to fight for on their own without the necessary support (O’Brien, 2007).

Human Service Organizations and Attachment Theory

Most of these organizations providing service to different people facing different problems have been able to achieve a suitable position and power, which is guided by and promoted by the kind of engagement and role they have been playing within our societies. Such form of engagement has been incorporating all the necessary obligations and ethics, which promote service delivery within the practices and mission in providing services. The attachment theory has been of great importance towards the realization of the best of goals with such organizations (Barrett, 2006). The attachment theory has been applied as form of psychological approach, which has a direct relationship and connection on how human beings will interact with one another. In that case, there has been the direct connection and understanding that any kind of individual who is in serious need of something, or who is facing some kind of problem should be given a primary attachment whose role will be in giving care and redress to the kind of problem that is being faced. This belief thus goes ahead and holds that, once the initial person having a given problem has not been given the relevant solution within the shortest time possible, it becomes quite possible for him or her to develop a permanent damage on his psychological depositions and eventually result in obvious social impairment. Such will thus end up ruining the future life of the person. In that case, there has been the need for these organizations to effectively employ such an understanding and by so doing be able to achieve the best results and performance in the provision of care and help to such individuals.

The attachment theory is an understanding which form the basis on how new therapies can be adopted to provide solution through a sharp analysis of the existing ones. The organizations have thus been adopting similar concepts whenever they have been formulating social as well as care policies for both children and the aged and be able to improve attachment relationships within the entire community, and not only for children but also the older ones. Although attachment theory has been a theoretical approach, which leads to better or poor development of a child’s societal enhancement, it has as well been used for all human beings so long they are in some kind of situation, which does compromise their living conditions (Schalock, 2007).

Conclusion

From the above discussions, we have been able to acknowledge the role, which the human service organizations have been able to offer to the society. Such services range from the provision of health care services, housing, promotion of peace and conciliations, guidance and counseling, among others. These organizations have been able to give the necessary support to different societies through their generous support and contributions. It will be necessary to acknowledge that, the power of such organizations goes beyond human expectations so that they become the right tools, which can be applied by any given society towards achievement of economic development and sustainability (Barrett, 2006). When the population has been living in overall comfort, it becomes extremely possible to achieve all the stated goals and thus making future life better and worth living. This means that operations of such human service organizations should be encouraged within different nations and by so doing be able to address all kinds of problems faced by different individuals.
